Land Group in Marshall and Ohio Counties,WV

Anyone dealing with GKT Land Group?
Has anyone here ever worked with these lawyers and got a better deal than working with and leasing with the gas companies personally?
Any input highly appreciated! Thanks

4500 was an offer for both but they expect to get much more.

They would have to considering Rice just recently paid over 5 thousand an acre in Greene county pa and over 6 thousand an acre in Washington county for I believe just the Marcellus.

if its for the utica it has to include the marcellus ....the marcellus is above the utica along with the upper devonian would be in the lease also

You can lease just the Utica if you like. They just drill thru the Marcellus to get to it.

90% of the people leasing did not know about the different formations and early  leasing was for the marcellus most oil companies that were leasing got leases signed from the surface to the center of the earth ......very few leases were wrote just for the marcellus and none  were wrote just for the utica  yes with todays knowledge people might lease just certain formations but most land was leased before the public understood they were on a triple play and the oil companies took advantage of that

What areas of Greene County PA is Rice working in? Where are they offering $4500 per acre?

Land group is having a meeting tonight 7-10-14, 6PM at Limestone fire department Marshall county. The sign up deadline is 7-18-2014. After that, probably in August the talks about money well start. The group has been in contact with many gas companies and there is a lot of interest.

Thanks For the info at least it's still going on sadly I won't be able to attend tonight as Iam out of the area for another week.
Maybe I can get someone to go for me at least I can try.
I believe I may sign with the group but sadly I won't be able to convince any of my neighbors to sign without some documents to show them.
