Can't help but notice how Ashtabula County (Northeastern Most Ohio County) is not mentioned in today's Article found in the Cleveland Plain Dealer and referenced in the Marcellus Drilling News.
The article of course qualifies itself and says more data is needed.
I take this as a backhanded slap.
All this boils down to is negative publicity for our county without enough data to back it up.
Utica Point Pleasant is deep (4000'-5000') and thick (300'-350').
We need more wells and data before our geographic vicinity is talked down about by building other geographic areas up.
Also, as always, only in my humble opinion (IMHO).
What do the rest of you folks say ?
