Marcellus Shale

Good Day,

  How does a property owner know if they are within the boundaries of the Marcellus Shale?  I am very interested in Morgan County, West Virginia.

Looks like you are right on the edge from this map. Probably not a good spot.

Thank you Oliver Perry, for sharing this map.  I have looked at this one before, and still can not

figure out if my property outside of Berkley lies within this.  I have a plat plan, just need to figure out

based on this map if this property my mother purchased in 1960 is a treasure.  She would be proud!

There is a property for sale within 10 miles that includes a listing for sale of all mineral rights...

I own 60 acres of Marcellus shale minerals in Tuscarawas county ohio, the Utica was reserved years ago. Does anyone know if these have any current value??

They have great value, unless I am mistaken, your county is in a very good area of the Utica.
