In some discussion it was asked about Marcellus well production and I am unable to locate discussion.

Here is a listing of marcellus wells in Jefferson, Belmont, and Monroe counties with the approximate location and the driller.   In Monroe Co.  believe there to be at least two others: Beaver in Jackson Township drilled by Beck Energy and the Eisenbarth in Ohio Township now owned by Statoil;   also those wells in Monroe listed as owned by Virco are now owned by Magnum Hunter.

If some poster with more knowledge in the O&G business than I looked at production records they could give us insight as to how good these marcellus wells are.  Thanks in advance to anyone who will do some analysis.

Adding the Dangel well in Monroe County, now owned by Statoil to this marcellus list.  Most of these marcellus were drilled before ODNR was compiling its lists of wells drilled in this shale play and therefore don't show in the spreadsheets and some of the interactive maps.

Reviving this thread as there continues to be very active leasing as well as drilling going on in the triple play area. Landowners in these areas bordering Ohio River REMEMBER what you have. DON"T lease cheaply. These vertical Marcellus wells were the decision making data points of where O&G companies wanted to be drilling.in the Ohio Marcellus.

Look at these maps from ODNR:

first showing where horizontal Marcellus wells are and it is current as of 9/5/13

second map shows thickness of Marcellus formation in Ohio

here is ODNR list of Marcellus wells; somehow I think there are omissions here and it needs revised.

here is the weekly Marcellus permit list

So far I haven't heard of any dry holes and sometimes a dry hole indicates a mess up by the driller or the fracking crew.  From what is posted on GMS seems as if the rocks are going up and not down.  Maybe some of the  people in southeast Ohio are just as big of gamblers as those in Texas and Oklahoma.

Donna, you are working sooooo hard at herding the cattle and the sheep into your livestock pen, it must be almost full by now.  Got enough money to feed all those cattle and sheep?

And no, Donna, we are not going to get into a match of words as I am taking the high road and perhaps you should too.
