As reported by the geological survey the layer of utica shale in Monongalia county is 500'thick with trillions of cf of natural gas as well as 850 billion barrels of oil.
I own property there with all the mineral rights. It is a fact that northeast has signed some leases west of Morgantown in the claybatelle district.I am in grant district.
However the utica, marcellus shale extends several miles in all directions from that point.
Why does that area appear to the drillers to have some kinda "don't buy leases there?"
I believe that i see an opportunity of a lifetime here.
What do you think?Thank you.Ken
