Thank you to all that responded to my question about the NW / SE direction that wells are typically drilled. As a followup, if there are multiple wells per pad (which seems like it's becoming the norm), are they ALL drilled NW/SE, or are the drilled in different directions? Thanks in advance

Your welcome Joe, and by the way the well plat info is free and you can request it for any well in PA. Ms. Schmid is very prompt to reply to information requests, usually within a couple of hours.
I think there is a 10mb limit per day for the pdfs.
Thanks Oliver. I email Ms. Shmid an hour ago. I am heading to the courthouse also - just for the fun of it.....
Got to the Lyco County courthouse today. Learned an awful lot, in part because the clerk was, simply put, rude and unwilling to help. Once I figured out I was 'permitted' to access the computers myself, the ball was rolling. Found unit maps, descriptions, etc. I found it very fascinating...
