In Pennsylvania 13% of the electricity is generated by natural gas  48% coal and 35% nuclear, Ohio only 3% natural gas, 84% coal and 11% nuclear and in West Virgina almost none is natural gas because coal is king at 96%. In New York the surprise is that 31% is natural gas, 33% nuclear, 21% hydroelectric and only 10% coal. I guess the ecoweenies in New York have something there. Its called clean cheap energy! Hopefully the use of natural gas will increase in all cases.
