Ok. So I'm new to this so I'm learning. I actually called the energy company and they told me that I was part of the 640 acres unit but we haven't got any official papers on it yet they even have my partial number and my unit number does that mean that I should trust them. I'm still waiting on what's called a division order they said. Also someone said that a lot of times they drill one leg and leave and not come back for awhile to drill other legs? how does all of this work? Do they usually drill one or multiple wells on the same pad. Can someone tell me the process on this and what time frame will I start receiving royalties what timeframe should I receive paperwork that I'm officially "in the unit".
Thanks agian

Be patient. The driller will send out the division order when the time comes. Sometimes they can take up to 6 months after production starts to pay any royalties to landowners. Do you know the name of the driller, the name of the well, and what township it is located in?

I have no ideA what the name of the driller is.where can I find this at? The well is in Salem township. I don't know the name of the well. But if I know where to look that would be great.
Stat oil...I just looked the map. Wow. Where did you find this info?

I found this well on the ODNR engineers report located at this link below. Click on the reports tab then click on county engineers. Then search by driller name, county, and township then click on report. All the info is there in the database. The permit was issued on Feb. 28 2014 Section 35.
