Its been a year since anything has been posted about Lehman Well site. There has been no activity since they put in the Hickory Bend pipeline. What is going on?

OK I had to do some serious searching as I had forgotten where this well was located myself. It is east side of route 7 south of 14 a short distance. This is a Chesapeake Well. I predict it will NOT be gathered by Hickory Bend or taken to New Middleton CG Plant. Hickory Bend is gathering Hillcorp wells. I have no answer as to why they do this. I am watching a Hickory Bend extension being installed that goes from Hillcorp Salem Grubbs off Grafton and goes past several Chesapeake wells to a location at the corner of Route 30 between Hanoverton/Lisbon where Depot/Trinity Church hit 30. There is permit near here for future Hillcorp well off rt 30 closer to Lisbon end. Today they were working on County Home Rd. I could throw a stone and hit the Millport Pipeline that goes to Kensington CG Plant. And I ask myself why they would do this? Still no answer.
There are no Chesapeake wells near or east of Route 11 that have a pipeline yet and some are older than Lehman. Millport is being reclaimed. Teegarden is being completed. Weather is warming up. Work out near Summitville/Salineville on unnamed pipeline. Phase III Kensington done??? We heard phase I was at capacity awhile back. Not sure about Phase II. I expect to see activity began this spring on some of these wells. When you start seeing surveying stakes, road crossing materials such tires, flags marking power lines, potrta potties, being set up, then heavy equipment being dropped off then you are getting close.
I had the same thing going on with the Marsha pad in Carroll County , Just got word they went into production few days ago. I was told they were waiting on processing equipment a month ago. I think a lot of wells are going to come online soon.. Good Luck
I just took a drive by all these wells on the way home one day last week. I was only able to see the xmas tree and solar array at most of these. There are a few you can not actually see the pad like Westover from the road. I do not see any of the trappings of production or pipeline yet ... no tanks, separators, pig launcher, valves, etc at any of these well sites Lehman, the next well down on Route 7 but on the right side I forget the name, Westover, Reed, Kernich, Morris, Grubbs, Rosebud. I believe there are a few other wells in this area too. (Benner, Fowler, Chamberlain, Wallace (RT 7 well I mentioned I believe, Ralph, Carney, State Line Resources, Janie Trust, Sevek) not sure if all of these have even been drilled ... Weber and Hoppel still show up over there too but not drilled.
IMHO they will be gathered eventually by Chesapeake and taken to UEO Kensington but we will just have to wait and see if this happens and when.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
