OH MY !!!

What county is this in ?

Monroe county, franklin twp.

Monroe!

wasn't registered/no permit no identification!

450 ,

Are you sure that they wern't registered .

I've never heard that one before .How can  an operator run an operation

with out being registered ?

Does he or she have insurance , if so sound like there may be a claim .

When was this first discovered ?

I read your story , has this not been cleaned up yet ?

well was running like this for 7 years/even NOV's say well was not registered! When water sample results came in 4 times legal limit ODNR said soil needed to be remediated /he also carried no bond of insurance which is in NOV's also/Now ODNR says nature will clean it up/an have been giving operator extensions for 2 years?????as stated in inspection notes on NOV's

Sir if you go to my web site an click on proof there are PDF files with copies of NOV,s with assigned API#! That has all info you ask for!

Shawn,  I am sorry this has happened.  I am pro O&G also, and all energy.  It is a shame that every year more and more laws, codes and rules are stacked upon us, when current rules are often not enforced.  This only causes the rule makers to pump more out as our freedoms go south.  I have not witnessed personaly but I have a few freinds that worked breifly for small drilling companies drilling in SW PA that told them to drain local creeks dry for water and to discharge onto the ground or back into the creek.  It is deplorable and arms activists against drilling.  Anyone truely pro drilling, industry, landowners and community should demand a stop to it, and responcibility taken for it, if they see it happening or the majority could become anti-drilling and knock our country a few more decades backwards into middle-east turmoil..  Thanks for giving the gate keepers phone #'s.  I will call tomorrow and ask if the law of the land is protecting our land.

Thank you for your info!on going battle to make people accountable for there actions!

Did you look at this property before you bought it?  Or was this well drilled illegally since you've owned the land?  It's well documented that the streams in that area are polluted from old wells and strip mining from many yrs ago. There are literally thousands of old oil wells in the county, that have existed before there was an ODNR.

yes i did walk entire property before purchase! i new well was on property but didn't no much about wells an i wasn't the owner of it! I had never been there to see it pump  into creek! It has ran like that four over7 years!IEvery day! This was never strip mined all the way back to early 1900,s was cattle an hay farm!
