It is good news and continues to be ignored.
Perhaps because it isn't sensational news. In other words since it isn't thousands of jobs it's only a few here and there but if you were an unemployed person now employed it is sensational.
The point the taxpayers of Ohio should take away from this news is that fewer Ohioans are collecting public assistance. Some of our fellow citizens are in a better economic situation for themselves and their families; all due to shale development. Wouldn't it be a fantastic circumstance if shale development could offer all of those in need this hand up ?
So, let us not disparage the numbers of employment; let us instead revel in the joy of those who were once unemployed and have now found a modicum of prosperity and a portion of the American Dream.
