oil and gas leasing

Has anyone went with Jim Millison's group on the oil lease. My husband went to a meeting and he was informative but also went to KWGD and they also were. Who is the best to sign with in getting the drilling done. Does anyone know

Why not try one of the gas companies. Right now there is activity with Shell in NW Pa., and I hear that Exxon

(Phillips) may be starting to get active in this area.

Peggy, Go to the Guernsey County Group page which is listed under the Ohio tab. You may also want to read the Harrison and Belmont Group pages. The KWGD Ohio Group 5 landowners group is in the final stage of signup and most of the group is from Guernsey. You will find plenty of good info on those pages. Educate yourself as much as possible and good luck.

Peg;  Go to as many meetings as possible to learn as much as possible. Contact local agencies like community colleges, ag agencies, conservation districts, to see if they are having any seminars. Serch "oil and gas leases" and read many sites.
