Pa House bill on Royalties, #1684 committee vote postponed

For many Pa landowners you might be interested to know that today's environmental committee meeting to address and vote on house bill 1684 that deals with Royalties and post production expenses was postponed after an hour or so of discussion.

Apparently a late amendment needs to be finalized, (oh boy!).

They hope to re schedule the committee vote for March 17.

Keep the pressure on your legislator and the committee chair!!!

YOU KNOW CHK IS GOING TO MOST LIKELY TRY TO GET A HEARING W/ THE STATE SUPREME COURT TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY LEGAL CRACKS IN A PASSED BILL THAT GETS PUT INTO LAW SO THE COMMITTEE MUST GET THE LEGAL LANGUAGE IN THIS BILL AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE-LETS GIVE THE COMMITTEE TIME TO WORK AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME;I KNOW I FOR ONE AM SICK AND TIRED OF 50% DEDUCTIONS FROM CHK.

"In the meantime, the legislators have asked the attorney general to begin a formal investigation into one of the companies..."

Gee, I wonder which company that might be? ;)
