HARRISBURG - The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee will hold a public hearing to receive testimony regarding royalty stub transparency issues and post-production costs from the development of natural gas, according to committee Chairman Senator Gene Yaw (R-23).
The hearing will take place on Thursday, June 27th, 9AM, in Hearing Room 1 of the North Office Building in Harrisburg.
Participants testifying before the Committee include: Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, National Association of Royalty Owners, Marcellus Shale Coalition, Bradford County Commissioners and Attorney Chris Jones of Griffin, Dawsey, DePaola and Jones, PC in Towanda.
Because of time constraints, there will not be an opportunity for a public comment period. However, written testimony will be accepted by the committee. The public can also submit comments at senatorgeneyaw.com following the hearing.
