My neighbor owns a 100 acres farm. The mineral title shows a partial reservation in the 1970's when it was sold of two-thirds of the oil and gas rights. This has left him with 1/3 interest. The previous reservation has been inherited by multiple people that are not on same page as far as leasing. Will a gas company lease his 1/3 interest? What happens if a party or parties who have a partial interest refuse to sign lease. Can you sue for division in ohio?
