Should the gas co. that has the lease on our property pay us to change the lease so they can do pooling with other land owners?

James' advice is spot on.

This in the end can benefit you. It also could be a detriment.
a possible scenario would be pooling part of your acerage and not another part leaving the left over part un-drillable or delayed for years. I take it you don't want to miss out on the royalties
This is true. We are up in age and would like to benefit from it in the near future. As of now the gas co. tells us they are not willing to change royalty interest or give us anything for changing the lease so they can make pools with other property owners. Thanks for your input. Jim
