I am trying to get a picture of what land owners have received or been offered for this pipeline. I am negotiating on behalf of a landowner.

they and their maintenance crews are slobs and major pain in the rear end for landowners.   I would get a whole lot of money to ever put up with their BS again.  We are on their pipe line and they better hope like heck they never need anything from us ever again.

Eric,

Sorry to hear about your experience.  What county did you have this problem?  Did you just sign recently?

This is an existing line.  hire crews out and pretty much turn them loose on the pipeline and they mow generally what ever they want.  I personally would make them string up a farm fence around the entire area to make them stay within the easements.  I cannot tell you how many trees we have lost because of them.  our 150' wide 100' easement is an ongoing battle ever 3 years.  they attempt to weed eat with a brush hog and have knocked down our neighbors cattle fence more than once and never told anyone about it.

That sounds like a sad situation.  Thanks for the info and we will be prepared.

Dave,

I have read on some of these posts 3 dollars x diameter inch per foot if it is a high pressure gas line.

May the force be with you.

Don
