Hi,

This is the name of the new well coming on Lisbon-dun in columbiana Ohio. I went and looked at this proposed site for fun last week and even as a crow files it is pretty far from me on Wayne bridge rd. Today we got our water testing papers with this well listed so I called Chesapeake and it was confirmed we are part in. It extends a 1/3 into nw section 33 and does included mattix. And the section the well is in is 29. I've searched on line for a county section map but I can't find any. This can only be found in the court house right?
In all honesty this has moved very fast for us, we singed in January, received payment 23 days later and now we are in a proposed well. Also how often do proposed wells get cancelled?

Ken,

I sincerely doubt that any South-East Lateral coming from the existing Trebilcock Pad will cross East of Trinity Church Road that far South. The Bottom-Hole of Well # 2178 - 8H, going South-East from the Trebilcock Pad, is about 1 mile to your West. It terminates South of Lisbon-Dunganonn Road and is West of Trinity Church road. Typically, in Ohio, if you are 1 mile East or 1 mile West of a Pad or Lateral you will not be in a Production Unit with those laterals.

With all of those Surveying Sticks and Flags at Andrulis, I now have to reconsider what the small amount of flags and sticks are for at the Henceroth site???

Thank you DBD, I went and picked up 4 section maps today to measure. This unit from what I was told by Chesapeake is butting up right at my unleashed (waiting on lease approve now) neighbor. My estimate is its a SE 4500 lateral. Can be longer if they sign him. I really hope they do since any inch further means more of my land is in, but I'm hoping for a lot more than an inch. Everyone else in this section is signed.
Okay I measured it wrong. It's going to be about a 6000 lateral and that only puts maybe an acre + of mine in.
I 99% sure I found the site. There has to be a hundred stakes in the Andrulis 15 acre parcel directly across from the greys property (sign at drive says gated horses). You can really see the stakes if you come in off of trinity.
How in the world they will get anything across that stone bridge and those bends are beyond me. I guess maybe they would come in off 30. I saw a guy with a tractor and chain saw starting to clear the trees off the entrance of this site.
Ken on your water testing request there should be a well listed.
I'm to curious to wait so I called the 877 Chesapeake number listed on the water testing paper work and they were very nice and told me as close as she could by the drawing of the unit on her computer how much I was in. She did not have the length of the lateral line though just the drawing of the included landowners. As I was looking at some Utica shale post today some of the laterals he posted are really long. I think I saw one 8000 ft.
Hi.
I called the 877 for Chesapeake again today concerning an unleased property that we knew had to be in this unit.
I was told today that this well is scheduled to be drilled, wait for it..... In 9 months. Jan 2 to be exact. I know things can change but wow that's pretty far off for it to look better surveyed than the well on the other side of Lisbon-dun. The lateral is a mile and a half and on a side note that unleased parcel is fully included. I hope they get busy signing his proposed lease they have somewhere in their possession. We did not bring that issue up we just wanted to know was the unit stopped 500ft from that parcel. He was sent the water testing papers Tuesday so our call was warranted I thought.
I'm assuming due to this info they will not be showing the drawing on the odnr site anytime soon.
I thought this was very interesting.
Another way to know you are in a unit is they call you up to say they need you to sign into a 1240 acre unit. I know I'm in about 4 or 5 acres for this well and I was very clear adding this amount without showing me a map from the Chesapeake unit planners that all my land would be added this would be depleting my royalties in half. He said I was wrong and would like to show me on paper. He did confirm again no dps man knows where a unit is going or where you will be in it until the unit is drawn.
He said this is not reopening my lease and no they will not up my royality since I'm at the top amount. I said the top in Texas is 25%.
Now they took all the fun out of this week :0(. No dps man is going to tell me anything that I will believe unless it's in written form from Chesapeake.
