Rex came out with a press release that offered some interested numbers and gave a good feel for the health of the industry and where they're headed in 2014. The link is enclosed but heres some samples from the article:

"Total production in 2013 grew by approx 38% over 2012",

"2014 production from liquids expected to increase by approx 16% as compared to 2013",

"For the full year 2013, realized prices prior to the effects of hedging were $95.12 per barrel for oil and condensate, $3.71 for natural gas and $48.66 per barrel for NGLs."

Heres to an exciting 2014!

Reminds me of oil tycoon H L Hunt (whom the TV show Dallas was based on) years ago gave $200 million to each of his three sons.  One, Lamar, bought the Kansas City Chiefs football team, then of the American Football League, which was losing a million dollars a year. When asked about what he thought of his son buying the Chiefs, he said " Told him he's a darn fool, he'll be broke in 200 years!"

Yes, Jim L. - 'those guys' - YOU know...Educate Yourself - The Hunt Brothers and the Silver Bubble...bottoms up! - down the hatch! Smart good ole' buddy boys...the HOUSE always wins...

Marcus - the tail that wags the dog? C Randolph - ...OR the farmer 'FARMED' because he was WISE & kept it in place (the do-ray-me...$) WHILE he 'farmed' & lived a GOOD, healthy long life (took care of his family AND enjoyed himself!...).

Stay tight & right - when one lives that way, they CAN go out on a limb at times...and hopefully live to fight another day.... IF one 'comes into a blessed windfall' - it is NOT a 'windfall', but in THIS area - due to due diligence to maintain one's ground. It is EASY to 'break things down', BUT very, VERY hard to 'build them up'.

IF one is blessed due to their DUE diligence - a man & his money can SOON be 'parted' IF it then manages to 'burn a whole' in the pocket...you can always look at things from a standpoint of 'well, I didn't have it before, and if...'. THAT   'train of thought' can & will loose every time.

It is one thing to HAVE...another to COME to have (Nuevo Riche) - and then another to loose & WONDER where it all went to...

IF you wish to dabble in commodities - THAT is more of a 'gamble' than not. Sure - you can 'win'...and then - it only takes ONCE & you can be ruined.

Be Wise. As one light lights another, nor grows less - so nobleness enkindles nobleness. Folderol!
