Rome trough group

To whom it may concern:

Have not heard of a Rome Trough group. Could you post some more info about it?

I just saw it on the website. I saw a perso named Ironman and it said you need to be friends of the Rome Trough to join in on the conversation. I wasn't sure how to join it. I am a royalty/mineral owner who lives in Virginia so it's difficult to stay in touch with what is going on there.  I do know that Greene County sits right on top of the Rome trough Marcellus  and Utica.Its been called the new Saudi of natural gas. A secret that I think they are trying to keep quiet but it's pretty easy to find out about it. Well stay 8n touch 8f you would like and let me know if you hear of any activity. Thanks. Debra Pennell

If you type in Rome trough group at the top of the website in the search box a number of aeticles Ironman wrote will pop up. Click on one of them and send him a friend request.

Glad to join this group. Just a brief history about my parcels. My great grandfather John C. Hampson left 3 parcels for me,my siblings, and cousins. The parcels are in Jackson and Center Township of Greene county. My son and I were lucky enough to visit and meet the landowners. We were able to sit in the house my great grandfather built in 1929 and is still standing with renters.
It has been a roller coaster ride, with doing most of the research by talking with people and searching the internet. It has been difficult to know who to and what to believe. I rely on information from people on this website. If I never see anything from this, I have reunited with my cousins, and have great pride in what my great grandfather left us, American energy. I do hope to have all of this in place, so that when I pass it onto my children, they will have reliable information. I will never sell my minerals and royalties. I know the Rome trough, Marcellus, Utica and more are there. Again glad to be a part of this group, and appreciate any information you can supply. Debbie Pennell

 Below is a link to what I call the Kentucky Brochure (for Minerals).   

Read section 3.4 Appalachian Basin Province in Eastern Kentucky which describes the 16 Oil & Gas Shale Plays in the Rome Trough.

The heart of the Rome Trough is the same in Greene County PA as in Kentucky. This was one large body of water that formed then dried up many times over millions of years leaving the various shale plays.

You own minerals in what may be the largest oil and gas Play on Earth.
