Scrubgrass Township

I was pretty far down the path of a lease with Shell and then it all went south in February.  Pretty upset about that.  Anyone hearing anything about current leasing plans in our area?

I was in a simialr situation in Irwin Township.   I was lead to believe that shell will back in a few months, they left Venango County so that they could send their landmen into Butler county to shore up areas that they wanted to have drill sites.   My opinion is that they will be back this summer.

Heard another rumor yesterday, was told that Shell is looking at acquiring Range.  Since Range has lower offers is Venango County, shell has left the county to allow range to get leases at lower values.   When and if Shell aquires Range, shell gets the properties at a reduced rate.

I was at $3250/acre do you know what Range is paying?
