Should GMS have a political group?

The main thrust of the site will always be leasing and drilling information. With that said, I have noticed several political discussions popping up.

 

Reply with YES or NO; should we add a political group?

 

*If added the discussions for this group would not be on the homepage where the main page forum currently is displayed.

NO!  I am not interested in someones political opinion on this topic.  If there must be a political group then place it on a separate page.  If I want to view these opinions then it is my choice.  My only interest in this site is to collect information related to O/G and reviewing the thoughts of other members.

I agree that GMS is not really the right forum for political discussions regarding the Marcellus Shale, or  regarding natural gas production.  I believe the value of this site is in sharing information which may be helpful to landowners.
