Signed lease on 2 different properties

Same county but located in different townships. Lease expires

this year but Ascent claims it doesnt because we have one that is producing.. How can that be they are not connected.

When you sign one lease with multiple tracts and townships, that lease will hold all. You should have signed 2 separate leases. Now the one tract of land is holding the other as a HPB, held by production. it sucks and operators get away with it.
