Something is going on, got behind about 7 water trucks going down West Main hill today. I know there is a well on 358 and one going in by Tom Fentons. I was told that the well on 358 was a test well I dont know about that. I was also told by a reliable source that Halcon wants a minimum of 5 wells per 640 acre units. Hurry up and drill baby drill!!!

I have read on this post some speculation that Halcon is trying to drill some initial wells to prove what is suspected under our feet as quickly as possible - and then possibly "flip" held acreage" to other O/G companies? I live in the area and have wondered - where are the holding ponds for frac water? I guess the frac water is being trucked in - and out. As for the well on 358 - isn't that the phillips well just beyond the gateway tavern? Locals say they drilled 12000 feet or so. I would assume that would be the casing length (vertical & horizontal). I am certainly not posting this with any concrete knowledge of anything - just wondering...most of what i do know has been learned from some other knowledgeable folks on this site and what i see going on around me.
