I live in Texas but have oil and gas rights on a tract near Point Marion. When I was up there
last Fall I noticed that there seemed to be considerable activity in East Greene County(Carmichaels)
but very little if any in Western Fayette County.
I think it is about 10 miles from Point Marion to Carmichaels and that there are also wells near Bobtown,
which is closer.Disregarding the present price crush, does anyone know why drilling did not move
further East.Is it that the Mon river is a barrier to distribution or is there some structural change
that would make drilling more problematic?
