Can anyone give me a update on what is actually going on in my area? I am a landowner of several properties in the area and havent really heard any news in the last year or so. The Hosy well is about 6 to 7 miles to my west which I read was capped and a well to my southeast about the same amount of miles is producing a large amount of oil and wet gas daily. That well is in Marlboro Township along Route 619. Is there a possibility we are just too far North of the play or have they not had the resources to drill yet? What actually happened in Suffield Township? There was high expectations and then nothing........I appreciate your feedback! Thank You........

A partial answer to your question would be whether the Gressinger well in New Baltimore has been drilled and fracked. Its location on Limaville Road would be mid-way from the Frank well along 619 and the Portage/Randolph boundary.

CHK transfers 25K Acres to TRACKER LARIO UTICA LLC in Trumbull & Portage County
750+ Trumbull Country Leases ( Newton & Lordstown Township ) transferred to Tracker Lario from CHK on Oct.23, 2012 and 900+ Portage County Leases ( Paris & Palmyra Township ) transferred to Tracker Lario from CHK on Oct.22, 2012. Most are HBP has anyone heard what their plans are? and what they paid?? I would assume if they are planning to drill they would have to renegotiate HBP Leases.
From Lario's website:
"We have built a solid interest in 25,000 Net Acres in the northern oil rich portion of the Utica/Point Pleasant with our industry partner. We’re focusing on drilling a science well Q2 ’13 with horizontal wells to follow.
Confident in the viability of the Utica Shale play, Lario Oil & Gas Company has moved aggressively in establishing an acreage position in select counties of Eastern Ohio."

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
