This is nothing more than a repackaging of the same sensationalistic rhetoric they have always used.

I love the fact that they call it a report in order to give it credence.

I won't bother debunking the silly claims of the "report". They've all been debunked before.

Wake me when they say something of substance.

Its truly mind boggling how illogical some people can think. It would be interesting, maybe comical, to hear an interview with these people from Environment Ohio. This is America......if you don't like it, you can get out!

This has been fascinating to watch the progression of these lame attempts to discredit the industry.  They started out south of Pittsburgh years ago. Then they moved on to Beaver Co and then up into Lawrence.  Then as the Utica broke on the scene they jumped to Ohio.

The pattern has been the same also.  Start out about water, then onto air and noise, then truck traffic and roads, and onto other more arcane issues.  Wait for them to find some specific species like wood thrushes to whine about.

What is most interesting is that it seems to be the same people. Would love to know just who funds this, get deep into the organization and who the main characters are. Has tp be a few people that work behind the scenes controlling all of this.

Jim,

Why are these people referred to as "the fractivist"?  Are they not frackivists? Plural?  Not to bother you personally - but I have seen this time and again on this forum's posts about "the frackivist".  Maybe these people will next complain about the loss of Snipes and Vernicious Kenids in the wild.  Pity the loss...

I personally have learned much from your posts sir, was just adding some bustle

MJ

MJ, thanks. Just what I needed....more "bustle" in my life. :-{)

As for the spelling of "frac....whatever"  you'll have to ask Guru Ron.  That is his department.

I call them Anti-Factivist.That seems to describe them more accurately.

There is speculation that some of the larger groups are being funded by the Russians who do not want us to get the dry gas here shipped to Europe and interfere with their monopoly there. I mean look what they and Syria have done to stop Quatar from running a pipeline to Europe. And look what the Saudis and Quatar have done to get control of Syria so it could be done. And how has the US been involved?

James; no doubt a lot of foreign money is at the root. Russian, Saudi, Qatarian, Iranian, and more.

I also would like to know more about the organizational aspects....how is it funneled in? Who are the main US players? Is it Soros and affiliated progressive groups? Is it subversives like Socialists and Communists? How are they connected with environmental groups like the Sierra Club or the Wildlife Federation?

If someone could infiltrate these groups to expose just how it is all put together would be a major story.

LOL!!!!!!

Poor pond scum

The Rockefeler foundation has done ther part to help fund.

The hypocrisy of that is unbelievabele. John D. Rockefellar is spinning in his grave right now. What always amazes me is how little anti fracking greenies have actually done to lower their use of fossil fuels. Most if you ask have no answer or they say well its unaffordable. No duh which is why the govt loans Solyndra money to spend $4 making a solar cell that they will sell for $2. At least spend your time and energy and money going and speaking up for something oh say geothermal that works and is affordable and has a roi rather than speaking against something for which you have no replacement!
