The notices from Chesapeake for the Pa. Demchak class action case are out. Please do not throw them out. Please read them carefully and understand exactly what they say. Even if you are not receiving royalties yet, this includes you. Weigh the outcomes very carefully and choose wisely. Respond before the December 17, 2015! Follow all directions.  We will be sending ours out with a green return receipt card. I want proof that they received our letter. 

     We  will be opting out. We are looking far into the future for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A little bit ( and I mean little) of money now is not worth what we could be taking away from the future generations of this lease we signed. We need to protect them and as we see it, this class action is only benefiting Chesapeake and lawyers. Lawyer payments will be going forward 5 years!!! on future production.  It does not address the market enhancement clause to our satisfaction. WE feel that this is a very poor settlement, and that is what it is, a settlement. It does not fix anything or address the real issue.

     Please do not ignore this notice. If you feel that you should have gotten a notice, but did not, contact Chesapeake.
