Many people do not realize this but natural gas development and hydraulic fracturing do not deplete water supplies:

When you burn one molecule of Methane you end up with two molecules of Water:

CH4 + 2 O = CO2 + 2 H2O

CH4 = Methane (Natural Gas)

O = Oxygen

CO2 = Carbon Dioxide (aka plant food)

H2O = Water

Indeed!

Actually it's CH4 + 2 O2.

Duh!

Thanks for catching that.

I need to do a better job of editing.

Heh Heh, clever observation.  Plus, it's put out in a nice clean gaseous form right into the atmosphere where it can go immediately to work making rainclouds!
