Hey guys... I've heard that there are all kinds of companies that get involved with the leasing, drilling, production, maintenance, of a well site but am not sure what all types of companies get involved? Does anyone know from top to bottom? I'm guessing you have companies like Chesapeake at the top leasing the land, followed by surveying and excavating companies... but what all goes into making a drill site work? Thanks! Any links or resources would be appreciated.

Derrick,

There are a lot of jobs to be done on a drilling location and service co's that servie the location. I will list some of them. Cementors, rig crews, location services, mud engineers, mud loggers, directional personnel, and roustabout services. Get on the net and look up all these companies. There are lot of services. Sadly I have seen very few PA

men working up here. The younger lot doesn't seem to want a job or be able to pass the physical or drug test.

Also, there are water transfer and water hauling companies and general trucking companies (to haul sand, gravel, etc.) looking for employees.
Thanks, y'all! I appreciate it.
