ckp is getting ready to put a rig on my families property in brooke co wva. just wondering where i can find the unit size and how many acres of ours they are putting in the unit some where on line? i tried the dep of wva but didnt see anything about units just permit info. i am in fla but i am going up in couple weeks. just trying to get some info before i get there. thanks

Chevron didn't buy out all the assets of Chief....there are four counties in which Chief kept the ownership...according to that news article about the sale that I read some time back.

Chief Oil & Gas said it will maintain its regional office in Marshall as  well as one in Lycoming County. Chief Oil & Gas and Tug Hill still will have  about 125,000 acres in the state's Marcellus shale reserves, mostly in Bradford,  Susquehanna, Tioga, Sullivan and Wyoming counties in northern Pennsylvania
