Went to the Vinton County Courthouse last Friday, Feb. 24, to copy land deeds in order to establish our mineral rights on our land.  The Recorders Office was dead.  Only three people in there.  No rush for Vinton County at the moment.  I think that the immature shale in Vinton County (except for the eastern townships)is keeping drilling companies away.
