I saw a well being flared across the river from new Martinsville in ohio. It was on top of the hill from ormet. What wells and or pad is this? Large flare that was bright orange colored.

Jason, this flare is on the second Ormet well pad drilled by Triad Hunter/Magnum Hunter. It is just off Longridge in Ohio Township, Monroe County. It has been flaring since at least Wednesday.
Well flares are one of the coolest things I've witnessed. Have had a few quite nearby to the house. It's not just the brilliance of the flare, lighting up the sky . . . it's also in equal measure the very loud noise that is so incredibly overwhelming. I just stared. Transfixed.
As I watched a well being flared the first time one thought came into my mind: American power!!
I didn't think of bonus money or royalties. I thought of American soldiers who (I dearly hoped) would not be dying in the Mideast.
So is it any wonder liberals hate and detest these wells, opposing them relentlessly. American power, prosperity, preeminence, and freedom from reliance on our enemies are the absolute last things liberals want.
While I have interest in the Stalder Pad I still have large fears. Especially reading about the Ormet fracking causing a blowout at Natrium. There are still other ways to make energy. You would think every dam on the Ohio would have a hydro electric power plant.
Should there be a war on our turf, our area is now a target due to the wells. I don't want to see solders over in the middle east any longer. I feel like a sinner and a saint over this and my interest is very small. I pray for safety, and peace. Blessings all!

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
