Seems all the drilling in the wet gas zones has driven down prices of the constituents derived from wet gas. Will this lead to less leasing and less drilling? Or will it accelerate the development of infrastructure and industry to utilize the products? Will we start exporting excess constituents?

It would be my guess that the result will be a little of each.

What happened to dry gas? Oil is the target now gas and NGL's are a byproduct from drilling for oil.

Geeeez  the price went south because of a warm winter and LOTS of drilling...why would we BLAME it on someone???

as soon as obama and the dems are voted out the economy will jump like a helicopter unassing 15 navy seals. pardon my french.

Gary: Nothing is going to happen for a lot of us until 2013. Allowing Bush tax cuts to expire plus Obama' new surcharge to pay for medicare will be a very bitter pill. Rates even without the medicare tax appear to exceed what situation was even BEFORE Bush tax cuts. Just google federal tax chages for 2013. The more you read the sicker you will get!

blame it on anything you want. The fact of the matter is oil and gas drilling in the US has produced an oversupply that will last for several decades. The US is energy independent already. The problem is infrastructure. Watch oil prices in the future. We are finding and producing so much in unconventional plays is is astounding.

how about i blame it on a cutback in employment in this country.there wouldn't be near the oversupply if democrat regulations hadn't cut employment. also an attack on the country by the muslim headcutters, who this administration seems to enjoy coddling. when clinton was president he shut down alaska drilling. he said we wouldn't get the oil for ten years so it wouldn't do us any good. we can't get rid of these people fast enough.
