What is going on?

I cant say who but a very reliable source told me My well is producing 500,000 cmf per day on an average. The funny thing is last month I did not receive a royalty payment at all or a statement. This month it was $ 33.00 and again no statement.@ 18% at the well head, even with the Natural  Gas prices being low were is it all going?    I think it is  time for a layer, but can they do anything to help besides get an audit ? Ron,

    Welcome to the Club. You have left the ranks of the "Silent Majority".

When all those being "taken" by royalty theft, speak out, then those who are supposed to be protecting us from theft will be forced to change their strategy from "I don't want to know" to "I'm very concerned about this theft", please re-elect me to solve this major problem (that I may have profited from).

It may be a while before enough citizens have a complaint that those who are protecting us, or not, will take notice. They have all been informed by my letter writing.

What state?  What is the name of the well?  If Ohio, contact ODNR to find out if it produced for the month in question.  Maybe it was shut in for that month, but maybe you will have to wait until the data is published to find out for sure.  If W.Va or PA, there must be a similar state agency to contact for this information since it is a public record.   Have you called the customer service person at the oil company for an answer?

You need at the very least to tell us the name of your Lessee.  You cannot reasonably anticipate a helpful response given the paucity of data you are providing.

There is alot of information you have left out.

What well, what company, location of well (State,County, Township/District), how long it has been producing, etc.?

And most of all why this anonymous source believes they are correct, how are they privy to this information and you are not?

how many acres of yours are in this well 1 or all? what kind of royalties were you receiving before this time ? what was previous production numbers before this big change in your royalties ? who is the producer? has it been shut in ......some companies have choked back wells to slow the sale of super cheap gas ......a change will come when they get some of the big inch transmission lines in operation ............have you contacted the production company and talked to the accounting department.............and also to production to see what their  plans are for production from your well in the near future.......looks like you have some homework to do    and if you fill in the blanks somebody on here may be able to help you    is this well a Marcellus or Utica well
