I received an express mail envelope form Wishgard today. They are requesting 30 additional days to check out the lease. If I do not sign the agreement to extend their time, am I then released from the lease if they do not send the bonus check within the time frame of the original agreement?

Permalink Reply by Finnbear on February 1, 2012 at 6:36am In the past, Wishgard only offered an agreement to market your acreage with their lease document. If they couldn't sell that deal to an oil and gas company inside the specified time, you walk away with nothing. In the past, when they were not able to make the deal, they sent letters like this, begging for an extra 30 or 60 days, so they could keep trying to sell the deal.
What exactly did you sign with them?
