WV House Judiciary Committee "public hearing" this Thursday on Forced Pooling

Public Hearing Thursday, February 17 at 3:30PM on Marcellus Shale Bills.

The House Judiciary Committee announced that it will hold a public hearing this Thursday, February 17 at 3:30PM on the two Marcellus Shale bills (HB 3042 and HB 2878 ) currently before the legislature. This may be the only opportunity for mineral owners to make their case.

The hearing will be held in the House Chambers at the State Capitol in Charleston.

Hope some folks in the Charleston area will be able to attend.

 

If you do go, please post information and your impressions for those of us who cannot be there.  (I'm in Florida, for instance.)

 

Now is the time to make your phone calls and to send your emails and letters to House Judiciary Committee members.  They are the ones who will be considering HB 3042, which deals with forced pooling.
