looks like the litigation is over, and beck and XTO came out on top.

The article  Isaw  about AE buying XTO leases did not mention Monroe Co leases, just Harrison, Jefferson and Belmont counties.  However, now that the beck case is ended, maybe someone will start drilling.

Here is one of those subtle clues which relates to XTO.  XTO has been running ads in the Wheeling Intelligencer  AND the Monroe County (Ohio) Beacon advertising that they put safety first the past couple of weeks.

IMHO spending money on ads in such a small circulation newspaper as the Beacon indicates XTO is still in the game in Monroe.  Much of the Beck/XTO acreage is bordered by Wayne National Forest and the BLM will have to step up their leasing process before drilling gets ramped up in Monroe's southwest townships.  Just my observations.  and lol perhaps an ad campaign about how well XTO treats their landowners would be appropriate since the Beck Energy case is over.    Or will XTO be the high end verison of Beck Energy?

XTO hasn't seemed to be real concerned about drilling, they have a few wells I think, and those are one hole per pad.  correct me if i'm wrong, that is what I recall without going to look at the odnr web site.
