Your Shale Team

Anybody heard from Your Shale Team Llc?  A bunch of us signed leases with them lin Jan. and haven't heard a thing since.  I've searched Internet made calls and emails but no luck can anyone help?

I had their web site bookmarked and now it is not there.  I thought they were hinky when I met with them.  They probably flipped you lease.  I would check the county records for activity with your land.

I have the same problem we signed a lease in Southington town hall meeting and they were going to send us our copies. Thats the last we heard from them and now I can't find anything.

I checked the Trumbull Co. Recorder office and 67 leases including mine and many of the people I saw in Fowler were recorded by a group called  Shale Investment Fund Llc.  They have a web site and a toll free number but  my brother called and hasn't heard back yet .

That is the third time  that they have changed their name.  I would really like to know what kind of shell game they are playing.

We haven't received a copy of our leases either.  What are our options?

I believe they thought they could flip the leases but they had too big of a group and then the bottom fell out of the gas prices.  I heard they went to Ohio.  Check the lease.  Does it say if the bonus is not paid in 180 days the lease is null and void?

Ronald, hopefully you didn't pay much to be this group.  Normally they didn't seem to charge much up front to market your property, although they take a cut later if they are able to 'flip it.' I just think it turned out to be the wrong time to try to market the properties in certain areas.   A good learning experience.  I'm figuring that the gas prices will eventually come back up.   I don't know that I want to be in a large group at the present time.  It would be interesting to find out if landowners in large groups in dry or marginal wet gass areas are able to make any deals in this climate.   I am not hearing of many.   Good luck!!!!

Hi, we also signed up with them in January. I have run into other people who signed up the same day who have their checks. I would just like to know what's up with us. It's going into the 6th month. Have you received your money from them Yet?

Where is your property Linda?  Most of the people I know did not receive any checks in Venango, Clarion, or Jefferson from this group and their lease is now null and void after the 180 days.  Make sure you are not recorded in your court house because if you are, you need to touch base with them to be 'released' from their lease, or it will look like you are leased to anyone checking in the future.

Property is on Bedford Road in Brookfield Township. I would really just like to hear something from them. I would like to touch base with them but can't find their phone no. The one I had is no longer in service because they changed their name.
