Just curious, but I just received a letter from H&M Land and Mineral, Inc (newly formed company out of PA), to purchase my mineral rights for $8,000 per acre in belmont county.  I also talked with the landman and he said that he is focusing on the S-G area.

Has anyone else in the S-G group received a phone call or letter from them?  Just Curious.....kinda makes you think there might be something down there worth holding on to,

I'm in Monroe county , have received several offers around $7,500. - $8,000 without having to negotiate, just don't think it is a good idea to sell unless you really need the money right now

I have been offered $9000 for Harrison county.

Is this for leased or unleased land?

leased  to chk @ 18.5 %   They also offered $8000 for acreage in    Monroe (Adams Township) county.

Leased to XTO 18.75 percent royalty

I have a lease with XTO and it is expiring.. I am only receiving $25/acre They will not get me to sign again.Attempted to contact the m but no reply. My property is in Salem twp. Monroe county Selling mineral rights is not a good idea.

I haven't received any information from  anyone regarding my situation .

Charles, I would be happy to hear more about your situation and I may be able to provide you some suggestions.

Had an offer of $10,000 per acre

Where are you located, what Twp?

We are in Washington Twp, about 2 miles west of the Armstrong Mills well.  Had several unsolicited offers come in the mail from some place in oklahoma.  Started at $5300/acre, last one was $9350/acre.  Not sure what number we'd walk away at, but thinking $15,000/acre would probably do it.

MrMojoRisin, can u give the name of the company who is offering $9,350 ? thanks

Sharon - If your considering selling your minerals, I would be happy to give you all the information you would need to make an informed decision. There are many factors involved when calculating an offer, which is the reason for different prices for different locations/leases already in place. I am from the area, worked as a landman for a couple producers and now I am working as mineral buyer.

MrMojoRisin - I may be able to get you a better price than $9350/acre, again several factors involved. Contact me if you would like to know more.

Anyone interested in learning more about selling minerals, feel free to contact me. Send me a friend request or just send an email.
