Just curious, but I just received a letter from H&M Land and Mineral, Inc (newly formed company out of PA), to purchase my mineral rights for $8,000 per acre in belmont county.  I also talked with the landman and he said that he is focusing on the S-G area.

 

Has anyone else in the S-G group received a phone call or letter from them?  Just Curious.....kinda makes you think there might be something down there worth holding on to,

Last winter (Feb 2014) I got offered $8,000 an acre for an old lease at 12.5%; summer 2013 got offered $4500. I got out of my old lease for non-production from a shallow well and am looking for a new lease. Once a new lease is paid out, I would consider selling my minerals, but not for less than $15,000/acre.
