OHIO LANDOWNERS MEETING JULY 11, 2013 AT UNION LOCAL H.S.

Did anyone attend this meeting?  It was advertised in the Times Leader at $6,400 per acre signing bonus & 20% royalties.  I contacted one of the numbers listed and was sent a copy of their contract along with a letter of intent.  The company (lessor) in the contract is Great River Energy, LLC.  Does anyone have any information on this group?  Is anyone planning on signing with them?  I was told the signing will take place on August 10, 2013.

You're welcome to comment here. Just know that Ohio has different laws than PA who has different laws than WV and that O&G companies do business in each state based on the laws in that state.

Anyone have a landman name or contact info for the river company leasing here? Wonder if they're only in Belmont. U can pm me or post on here.

to J McKim--I believe that we own acreage between your property and the road--we never signed 5-6 yrs ago w/ the original company that held your lease but are getting ready to build and rather than end up in a forced situation have decided to look for a landowner friendly lease to hopefully preserve some rights. Sure looks like a dead end. I can't find anyone who has actually been paid. Anyone out there get their bonus payment?
