What is up with Great River Leases

Has anyone got a handle on what is going on with Great River?

They are without a doubt the most disorganized operation on the planet.

Many leases were signed in Belmont County but most are way beyond the bonus time frame outlined in the lease or the order of payment.

I don't know. I don't even think Great River has anything to do with McLendon or American Energy Partners

This is the guy running Great River.he is an attorney since 2009. I left a message. If i hear back I will post it.

Thanks Adam. That name and number is listed on the Orange Energy website (http://orangellp.com/contact-us/). I tried to contact him but haven't got anything back from him. It's like the lease deal has evaporated.

I tried calling american energy partners. Someone actually picked up. But she said she have to call me back. The lady said they are affiliated with Great River. Did you sign up with the group in Bridgeport??

Why do you try to call ( 405) 418 8000. ask for land department. have your parcel ID on hand. Let me know what they tell you.

I did make that phone call. A real person answered but then I was dumped into a voice mailbox. I left my id info and a call back number. We'll see what happens.

I had heard Great River was backed by money from AEP. Great River Energy would then transfer the leases to AEP after due diligence was done. Many of these companies try to hide their tracks using other companies to lease for them.

 I signed with AEP in Sept 2013. 80 days after signing I had to re-sign the lease and terms with Great River on the lease. I  was paid 3 weeks ago. Great River on the check.

AEP is American Energy Partners, not to be confused with the electric company.

I signed back in August and  they now are at day 190.  Sent them certified letter at day 150 which gave them 30 days to pay or release land.  30 days passed so the deal is dead.  All I need now is to get them to release the property as I have been contacted by Gulfport and others at a higher bonus.
