Im very excited about this meeting, hoping we get more info. on process of where they are drilling......see you there.
It seemed like the big news out of this meeting was that the effectiveness of the frac out from the horizonatal bore is now down to " a couple of hundered feet" instead of the 1,000' we were originally told. More wells, more money but also more trucks, water, wastewater and air quailty issues and more chances repeat of McNett Twp. type screw ups.
What happened in the Mcnett Twp. Screw-up you are making reference to?
Clyde- I am away from home and do not have the articles but as reported in the Sun Gazette for about 3 days in a row sometime in September ( buried in the back of the paper somewhere ) there was a leak though faulty casing at an East Resources well in McNett Township. Methane leaked into a stream that is a tributary of the Lycoming Creek. Also a number of neighboringng water wells ( 3 or 4 I believe) were contaminated. No follow up I saw after the initial articles.
Ralph - Thank you. Our property is in the Southern part of McNett Twp., but, I believe know where that well is located.
