Mike,
We have many landowners signed up in our group from Windsor and Orwell. We invite you to join us as we are exposing our acreage to producers at this time.

We have landowners in our group from all parts of Ash Co. We continue to build a database and educate landowners as we follow the activity of the Utica play. Informed Landowners= Better Leases for everyone

Is EGL open to leasing their acreage by region(i.e. township, etc) or is it all or nothing?
Brad,
We have stressed the importance of building clean, contiguous, drilling units in each township that our membership serves. We have had a number of meetings and invited members of the legal profession to be guest speakers on a variety of gas and oil subjects. Time will tell and the market will dictate the parameters of future leasing and the locations of pipelines and facilities to bring the products to market. The smartest thing a landowner can do is to be well informed and not make any decision hastily without all the facts or surely what they get will seem like nothing in the future.

We are sending out a newsletter to our members on Monday. Our next meeting will be mid January. Hopefully we will have more to report then

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
