A quick calculation method provided by Chesapeake..."up to $10 per day per acre over a 10-year well life".
HELLO, IS THIS FOR 1 GAS WELL IN A UNIT ?
What well head price is this utilizing?
How long ago was that calculation given to you. I guess up to $10.00 makes it sound good. Do you know anyone receiving $10.00 per day per acre. Sounds like a lot of money at the end of a year.

I know of two wells within a short distance of my place. Dont know if I am in a unit yet.
Hi Mike,
Just wondering where in Bradford are the two wells located. I own a few areas in terry township. :)

Fitzsimmons , Gowan, and Smith wells
I have seen where Chesapeake drilled two wells in Bradford County with well head results of 8.2 and 10.8
I have hard of a wide variance in the prices received. You have to know your royalty clause is it 20% ist it 12.5%, is it 12.5% with deductions allowed? If you have deductions allowed on your lease it can very greatly from month to month as to what you receive. The calculation also depends upon the price of gas. The calculations used in this video say that you will realize aproximately $32,000 per acre over a five year period. At a given price of gas.

Hi Cjk,
Just watched the video and the professor from Cornell said $32,000 per acre over a 50 years period.
Thanks, Sharon
Scant few landowners are receiving royalties as yet. Some are. But for most, the lack of gathering lines is interfering. And with the decline rates on these shale wells, for sure don't count your chickens until they hatch!!!!
Hi Frank,

What do you mean by gathering line? I am not familar with that term.:)
