Thanks, Wayne. I'm on dial-up and have some trouble with the google earth thing.  I saw your offer earlier to post individual maps upon request:

Could you be kind enough, please, to post the map for the Roy B unit you mentioned in your post.

Thanks

Here are the two Roy B units I have. They are each about 200 KB, which is the approximate size of the Google Earth map. I think that if you had GE loaded into your computer some way that you could access the map almost as quickly as the pdf files. If you have trouble let me know.

I forgot to add that there is also a Roy unit east of these two and TLM just applied for a permit for another Roy B site east of that.

Wayne thanks and very much appreciated!  Your maps are a great help.

I apologize for my ignorance and shortcoming here.  I realize I need to "step up my game" and get on board with GE.  First of all, you are absolutely correct regarding the download size.  It was not a problem for me, even with dial-up.  Your PDF maps came in quickly and displayed easily.

I can recall trying for GE (it was a while back) but being stopped by the file size, I think of the installer program itself.  I will try to download whatever it is I need at a library, bring it home on a thumb drive, and install from that.  With a little luck, the above will be my first and last request for special help.  It is reassuring and helpful to learn the GE maps themselves are roughly the same size as their PDF equivalents.  Prior to your post I was not aware of that fact.

Thanks again!

No apologies necessary. It's a constant and time comsuming process to keep up with the technologies. That's the way tech firms make money by developing larger, faster machines and then developing larger programs requiring larger computers. It's a vicious circle.

Wayne, thanks for the PDFs. The KMZ files just won't load up for me but it is very helpful.
