Last I heard Shell was still leasing in Clay township.  Have you spoke with them?

WE SIGNED BACK IN 2011 WITH SHELL I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF THERE WAS ANYTHING GOING ON IN CLAY TWP

Did shell make payment within the 90 days?

WE DIDNT SIGN UNTIL DECEMBER 2011 SO WE HAVENT SEEN IT YET!

Post if you receive payment if you would as I will do the same.  Just seeing if they/Shell are actually paying up on the leases.  I have heard some that have received payment and others are over the 90 day period with no payment but Shell says they are running behind.  Heard they/Shell have a bunch of wells planned for Northern Butler county this yr but have't seen/heard the complete list so hopefully they plan on punching some in Clay.  Good luck as I hope everyone benefits from this as Shell seems reputable so far.  We should know by May on our end but you should know here real soon as Dec. 2011 should be up soon with the 90 business days.

When we signed with Shell in November, our lease said 120 banking days, so check your lease for that deadline.  Some may have been 90, some 120.  I have contacted my landman throughout the process and he told me a month ago that our payment was scheduled to be sent around the end of March.  That's just shy of 120 banking days, but alright with us. I'll post if there is a hangup, but I'm not expecting any delays.

We are also in Clay township.

I WILL POST WHEN SHELL PAYS ,MY FAMILY MEMBERS SIGN BACK IN OCTOBER AND IS STILL WAITING THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO RECIEVE IT BY APRIL SO I WILL POST WHEN THEY DO!

SBRW...yes, your information is correct...Shell does have a bunch of wells planned for Northern Butler county this year. I talked with some of the landowners on Boyers road/Marion twp. last thursday, and they said that Shell has spent the last two weeks  surveying their properties (and others who leased with them in that area) regarding a well/wells, and after that they are going to re visit Cherry Twp., but they would not say where they will be going next. You are right in saying that there is a list of areas that they be going into, but the landowners I spoke with said that Shell would not offer any more information at this time. And also, to your concern, the landowners I spoke with said that they did receive their payment from Shell, and when I leased my three parcels in Cherry twp. with Shell, I also got paid.
