Edgemarc started flaring the gas well on the Morrow pad on Friday night in concord township.  The Flame can be seen from North Washington, if your in the right area.

I had a friend meet with some Edgemarc officials about a month ago.  They stated their goal was to be selling gas from the Morrow well by August 1st, 2014.  That means they will have to have the ROW's, and the gas pipeline installed by then.  It seams like a pretty aggressive goal to me.  I wish them luck.  They also stated that after that is completed, their next goal would be to put a pipeline from there to Allegheny Township to connect the well on the Cratty pad.  They had a map with  a proposed route that my friend got to take a peak at.  He wanted to make a copy of it, but they would not hear of it.  What he found interesting was how it ran threw Washington twp.  It almost splits the chevron leases and the shell leases right down the middle. With shell leases to the west of the proposed ROW, and Chevron to the east side of it.  Also to note, the proposed line runs very close to Chevron's Hindman well pad.  They also didn't hide the fact that they were trying to buy some of Shell leases, but didn't say which ones or in what townships.  They said the biggest problem with Shell is, trying to get in touch with the person that has the power to sell the leases.  My friend didn't think to ask if they were trying to buy any Chevron leases.

Took this video last night. The pad is right beside the road and pretty amazing to see and hear. I'm glad I don't live right next to the well

I spoke with the Landman for EdgeMarc a couple of months ago and he also informed me that they were trying to cut a deal with Shell. Same details though, he didn't say where, how much, or when. He did say that Shell, along with all of the larger companies, (Chevron??) works extremely slow! If they do get the pipeline in I would think this area should develop pretty quickly.

P.S. The flame can also be seen from 308 going north just past Holyoke Rd. It is an amazing site!

Now that this well has been flared, has anyone heard how good this well is? Good, bad, wet?
