I have heard a couple pieces of info on this well.  #1 well is a Utica well and is completed.  #2 well is a Marcellus well and it runs either in the same path as #1 or very close to it.  Utia AND Marcellus wells in Carroll county, WOW. #3 well is permitted and know nothing more.  #4 well may be "drilling" but it will not go far as it is headed to Summitcrest farm property and as some know, Summitcrest has pending litigation with CHK and therefore until that is resolved, CHK can't drill under their ground.

Water was pumped through that pipeline from the Boy Scout Camp Lake to the freshwater holding pond at the Bucey Pad.  This pond was used to frac the first two wells.  Lights were delivered to the pad yesterday to prep for either another well (there is another permit awaiting a rig), or they are getting ready to frac.

Fracking at the Bucey well today.

The Bucey Well has been dark at night.

Maybe, they are done fracking the wells.

Frack equipment from the Bucey Well left last week, was serviced, and arrived at the Haynam well this afternoon.

ODNR still list as "Waiting to Frack" - not updated to "completed", yet ...

BUCEY 1H

BUCEY 5H

BUCEY 6H

ODNR lists as "Complete / Production" ...

BUCEY 3H

ODNR Weekly PDF File

Bucey 1H has not been drilled yet, 5H and 6H were Both? Fracked last week.   OOPS, the Haynam Well is the "Aryview Well (the Haynam Farm).   Sorry for the confusion.

Production Units (PU) ?

OK, lets say ...

1H Lateral goes North-West and is permitted

3H Lateral goes North-West and is producing < PU must be defined?

5H Lateral goes North-West and is fracked

6H Lateral goes South-East and is fracked

 So now I ask ...

How will the Production Unit(s) (PU) be finalized ?

 Option #1:

Will each Lateral have its own small PU ?

 Option #2:

Will the NW Laterals be a 640 Acre PU and the SE Laterals be a 640 acre PU ?

 Option #3:

Will all Laterals be combined into one large 1,280 acre PU ?

Does anyone have any hard evidence as to which option the driller will choose for the Bucey Well Laterals ?

I heard today there will be a 640 Unit to the North and a 640 unit the South and they will remain independent.  The Marcellus well is it's OWN unit (Bucey North M Unit).  Not everyone in the North Unit is in the Marcellus Unit because Eric Petroleum retained the rights to the Marcellus layer and above. I also had heard that a landman was coming around trying to get the unit size increased again, but have not personally had contact with a Chesapeake rep.

Per ODNR,

Two Bucey wells are "Producing" ...

 3H is the Utica well # 34-019-22074-0000 on Sep 30, 2011

 3HM is the Marcellus well # 34-019-22086-0000 on Oct 21, 2011

Very interesting that they are in differrent Production Units because of different Minerals Rights owernship.

I would be agreeable to an increase in the Production Unit size IF the Driller agrees to have one Lateral per each 200 acres (+/-) in the Production Unit and all laterals are drilled within say 3 years and maybe they offered a small Signing Bonus (always ask!) ?

1 Lateral in 200 acre PU

2 Laterals in 400 acre PU

3 Laterals in 600 acre PU

4 Laterals in 800 acre PU

 etc

Is basically the exact same royalties for each landowner in PU.

New Burry well near Bucey well.

The Burry well will be located at the North-East corner of Appolo & Marigold.

My friend reported seeing a large "object" at the Bucey Well on Monday.

"A crane?", I asked.

He said, "No, it looks like a Rig."

Can anyone confirm what this "large" object is?
